What is a Fractional CMO?

Basically, a Fractional CMO is a “part-time” chief marketing officer. Instead of paying someone six-figures for full time marketing work, you instead only pay a “fraction” of that for a few hours a week.

How does a Fractional CMO work?

For a flat rate, you retain a certain number of hours per week (DollarCMO usually dedicates 10 hours/week per client) at which point we begin building and implementing strategy to grow your business and craft your message.

How much does it cost to have a Fractional CMO?

ehh… that really depends. It isn’t uncommon for Fractional CMOs to charge $200/hr in some agencies, but trust me… we are way more cost effective.

Do I need a Fractional CMO or a full time CMO?

Depends on a few factors. Typically, if your marketing budget is less than $10M a year in total spend, then you should be fine with using a fractional CMO. Actually, using a fractional CMO will help save you money and put more of that budget to work.

Is there a upfront long-term contract?

God no, not with DollarCMO. We do a 90-day initial contract to test our relationship out and then we review our relationship together. After that, we can do another 90-days or longer. Your call.

Using a variation of the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology, we start by Defining and Measuring current data points and reviewing the competitive landscape while learning your business.

Rates start at $100/hr and hours are billed in 15 minute segments.

No Strings Attached- 90 Day

No long-term contract needed. Let’s test each other out first.

For a flat rate, DollarCMO will step in and begin handling your marketing strategy and implementation needs. Perfect for those who are a little risk adverse or companies looking for an interim CMO.

We are happy to discuss longer contacts after the 90 days are complete.

Long-Term CMO Package

Ready for something more long-term, but without the investment of hiring a full-time CMO?

DollarCMO is more than happy (and we really prefer) to build a long lasting relationship in managing your marketing needs.

Overall price of the package depends largely on the amount of hours needed, which we secure in 10 hour weekly blocks. The more you buy, the more you save.

Equity Stake CMO

Cash flow a little light? Need a marketing partner to come in and help develop marketing strategies or a marketing leader to in-house a strong marketing team?

With DollarCMO, we are happy to entertain taking an equity stake in your business in exchange for our services.
